Our DIY reusable beeswax wrap course is perfect for people who love beeswax wraps but would prefer to make their own instead of buying them. They are also ideal because they allow you to make your first wraps using our equipment instead of purchasing your own. Reusable wraps are a great way of reducing plastic waste and make fantastic gifts! For more information about reusable beeswax wraps see our dedicated wraps page here.
We run the courses in Murrumbateman NSW.
Over approximately 1.5 hours (some people take more or less time to complete their wraps) you will learn how to make your own reusable beeswax wraps, receive hints and tips for selecting material and you get to make two wraps of your own. You will be provided with a how-to guide to take home for future use.
We keep our courses small to maximise your learning. We limit the course to 5 adult participants.
This make your own beeswax wrap course is great for parent/child activity during school holidays. As such we offer additional courses during NSW/ACT school holiday periods. We also offer a huge discount for children 16 years old an under who attend with their parent to make it an affordable family activity. Book one adult and one child on the same DIY reusable beeswax wrap course and pay just $100!
We currently do not have any beeswax wrap making courses scheduled. Please contact us here and we will arrange a suitable time to run one for you.
What to bring:
We will be working with hot, melted beeswax. If spilt it has a tendency to go EVERYWHERE! Wax is also very difficult to remove from clothing. We recommend you wear old clothes you are happy to get dirty. Wearing long sleeves and pants is also advised.
Children accompanying an adult must at least be ten years old. If you intend to bring children it is your responsibility to determine prior to booking that they are capable of handling and being in close proximity to hot irons, liquids and stoves. It is also your responsibility to supervise your child at all times. A maximum of two children per supervising adult is allowed. Finally, if you are completing the course with your child please allow extra time at the end of the course to finish your wraps.
